OBEDIENCE TRAINING POLICIES

SCHEDULING

Our goal is to harness a fun, safe and educational environment for dogs and their people. Schedules change and we try our best to accommodate these changes.

  • If your schedule changes and you will be late and/or will not be able to attend a scheduled class, please inform us prior to the start of class.

ATTENDEES

Due to the small nature of our classes, we ask that each dog be accompanied by no more than two age-appropriate humans, so as to not cause disruptions during class.

REFUNDS

If for any reason you are unable to attend the scheduled program that you have registered for, you may join the next scheduled group training program as space permits. Refunds for group training classes will not be given.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Please remember to bring the following items with you to all classes:

  • Fixed-length Leash (NO Retractable Leashes!)
  • High Value Treats (i.e. freeze dried treats, soft & chewy treats, etc.)
  • A Properly Fit Collar and/or Harness
  • Vaccination Records - Proof of current rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvo) and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations are required prior to class start.

FLEA-FREE ESTABLISHMENT

NO FLEAS! Please help us maintain our cleanliness and be sure your pet is pest-free. If you know your dog has fleas, please refrain from attending class and notify us immediately.

SKUNK POLICY

In order to provide a fun, clean and enjoyable environment for both pets and people, please refrain from entrance if your dog has been sprayed by a skunk. If your dog has been skunked, please refrain from attending class and notify us immediately.

HEALTH

To ensure the health and safety of all dogs, we require every dog be up-to-date on vaccinations. Proof of current rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Parvo) and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations are required prior to class start.

RELEASE

Prior to the beginning of class, you will be required to complete a release of liability form. If your dog is suffering from an ailment or currently in veterinary care, we will also require a medical release from your veterinarian.
